Recently i was taken to a private cosme sale by a generous someone [whom i have been told not to name]. When i got there , it was PACKED! They had skincare items from big brands like Shiseido, Shu uemura, Elizabeth Arden, Christian Dior etc at 20% - 50% off.

Alas I wasnt feeling too great [hangover? from the night before] and i didnt want to fight with the other ladies for the stuff. Japanese people are generally very polite [or maybe i am biased] , alas a bargain brings out the worst in all of us. There were some great bargains like shu uemura cleansing oil at 50% off but not worth killing myself over. [i dont really need more cleansing oil] So i wandered over to the other side of the place to catch a breather since not many people were there

woo! turns out thats where they had the shampoos and hair care related items. At 70% off.

That lux leave in hair treatment on the left is my HG hair treatment so i got two bottles.
As a trial , i also got the tsubaki oil leave in hair treatment and shampoo [different brands but all pure tsubaki oil contents] They have more tsubaki oil content than Shiseido’s tsubaki shampoo/conditioner range. And heck at 70% off , why not? Also picked up a hair velcro thingy for my Jo!

After this brief spurt of energy [hangovers are a b***] i ventured over to the general drugstore cosme area [ie non branded cosme stuff like SANA, plagantong] which was at 70% off too but DAMM everyone was nuts there too so all i made away with was this

I have noticed this brand around and since Miss Tia has given this a big thumbs up, i thought i would try it too.

By now , the queue at the cashier was getting a bit insane and since i couldnt stay for more than a few hours i decided to go queue up and pay. I had to go Yodabashi Camera aka huge electronics store to hunt down the new Canon Mark II DSLR camera with the husband.

But as i was queueing…right next to the cashiers… was a display of some high end cosme items on 30% off. [I'm guessing they are not old stock hence the lower sale percentage] I spied the Shu uemura Recovery Ex which a few people have spoken well off [Its a face scrub] so i quickly grabbed one as well.

My total came to just over 5000yen [USD$50] YES for all that!
And for spending over 5000yen, they also gave me a free gift which turns out to be worth the most in my haul.
I got the body precious [line shape essence] by Cosme Decorte which retails at 6000yen!
They didnt even have anything there from Cosme Decorte for sale else i’d have fighting with the other ladies too XD Hangover or not! FYI Cosme Decorte is the high end brand from KOSE and the counter is only found in Department stores unlike its other brands like Sekkisei / Beaute De Kose which can be found in drugstores. And i love everything they make.

All in all, i was really pleased with what i got.
I left my contact details with the cashier so i could be notified if there were any further events. She told me they were probably going to have one more event in december to clear the old stock and would be bringing in more makeup [!] rather than just skincare/haircare. Cant wait XD!
