Super thanks to everyone’s suggestions in my previous post!!
I havent gotten to Benefit yet [i did go past them today but forgot to bring the list of everyone's reccomendations out so i will do it later this week]
A lot of you suggested i try out Illamasqua which is a new british makeup line [available to US Sephora and with the current exchange rate..Sephora seems cheaper haha] so i popped into the store today at Selfridges and got a few items to try out
Those of you on my twitter will recall me asking for gold eyeshadow reccomendations a while ago
And whilst i have tried a few different things, it appears this is the one to get…
I’m in love love love with this color.
Liquid Metal in Solstice [16GDP]
True to its name, it is shiny like liquid metal.
Will definetely try wearing it tomorrow and let u guys know about its lasting power and whether it creases!
Picked up two blushes as well
I know this seems a bit odd for a blusher but trust me , the color comes out amazing!

Blusher in TWEAK for Asiyakei [this was the last one left too!]
Thought i try their lipgloss as well [since we all know i am on an eternal hunt for a long lasting and nonsticky lipgloss]
And lastly, i asked the SA to let me know what the number 1 selling item at the counter was.
This is what she reccomended
Sealing Gel
Its supposed to keep all powdered makeup [think eyeshadow, blush etcetc] on your face all day till you remove it. SA told me it was perfect for humid weather. I guess its kinda like UDPP or TFSI for cheeks HAHA

I should write a bit more about my london trip so far or at least post some photos but i havent quite gotten through editing them yet XD But on the weekend, i went to watch
The last time i was living in the UK [what is it now..4 years ago?], Wicked had just begun its first run. So i thought it was appropriate for me to catch it again now XD
Its not as good as some of the big musicals out there but its still quite enjoyable
Alright, i must go now and enjoy the brillant weather and my new books…
Yes i like buying english books when i am out of Japan. English books cost FAR too much in Japan [and kinda hard to find sometimes] which is why i only read japanese books in Japan.

And for drugstore products~ Hmmm~ I really do like Max factors silk gloss in mellow pink… It my fave drugstore gloss so far~ It's perfect for nude lippies and pale pink lips! And has such a lip balmish feel! ^^ Also Maybellines Dream Mat Powder is also nice~ It got nice reviews too… And what more… Err…. If they carry Isadora i recommend their products~ I like some of their eyeshadow quads and their contour kajals… Also their Fine Liner Eye Stylo… I am really rambling now xD

I watch bubzbeauty on youtube, and she always uses a brand called MEMEME cosmetics, or just MEME, hahaha, i can’t remember. but its at a drugstore brand there.
I suggest looking for Barry M and GOSH. They’re supposed to be really good drugstore brands.

If you can get hold of Maxfactor, definitely get their 2000 calorie mascara!!it is my ultimate HG!!and I’ve never personally tried yet but apparently the Maxfactor Masterpiece mascara is absolutely brilliant too (they used it on set of Memoirs of a Geisha)
Sleek makes nicely pigmented eyeshadows for 5 bucks a palette!
i got 2 of the sleek eyeshadows palette but everywhere i go..the new one is sold out XD i will try harder!

Dawn French and the Top Gear guys! sweet! I’m liking the gold eyeshadow. It looks like it would make a fantastic liner. Maybe a scraping mixed with some lotion would produce a fantastic body shimmer along the collar bone and shoulders for night outings.

Ohh, I always love looking at live pictures of Illamasqua makeup. I agree that some colours can be popping bright but if you apply them with a light hand it can be flattering and you can make it work. I have a gloss in ‘Move’, which is a boysenberrry colour, but I forgot if it is an intense gloss or a sheer one.

love those bright pink and purple blushes – they do look a bit scary in the case, but i’m sure they’re not as bold when you wear them
