I often get emails from you guys asking me about outlet shopping in Japan. To be very honest, i dont go to many outlet malls as its often far/out of the way. I think outlet shopping in US is better XD
Anyway it just so happens, i did pop into one recently so i thought i would write about it
This is in Saitama! Over 1 hr drive from middle of tokyo.
There are several others, like makuhari messe and yokohama etc etc
its right next to costco!
YES yes, we have Costco in Japan, there is one in saitama and one in chiba. ^^

The COSTCO is super amusing. I’d totally say I want to go when I’m back in japan, but I don’t have a Costco card, and I don’t think I could steal my parents’! I SOO want to go outlet shopping in Japan. Are there a lot of Japanese-brand outlets? So what DID you end up buying?

Omg I went to this outlet when I went to Japan during the summer! The bad thing was that it was bad weather and raining a bit during the day while I was there. I shopped at the Nike outlet (and bought some cool shoes despite a little overpriced), stopped by Milkfed, Jeanasis, and several other cool stores
Hehe did you go to the Ami Outlet yet? That’s the newest one in Saitama (or somewhere close to there) right? And i think the oldest outlet was the Gotemba one near Hakone.

I love MUJI stuff hahahahaah…especially their stationary. I couldn’t get enough when I was in HK hahaahahah… Oh did you know that Melbourne opened up a Costco too~~~~in the new area out in Docklands…ppl told me it’s huge but you need to pay $60members before you go in and have look…that’s crap~~~DFO will have to do the job for the meantime in terms of outlet shopping hehehehehe
