Ever since i started posting EOTDs, i have recieved a lot of questions about wearing fake eyelashes.
So i decided i would write a post with answers to the most frequently asked questions ^^
FAQ
1. How many fake eyelashes do you own? And how often do you throw them out?
Earlier at the start of this year, i posted a photo of my fake eyelash stash…
No idea if i actually own more or less now XD i have obviously bought more since but i do use them up quite quickly too. I tend to throw them out after 3 wears. And yes i do wear them daily.
2. What is your best tip for wearing fake eyelashes?
A really good pair of tweezers especially when you are just starting out ^^
As u get more familiar, you can probably just put them on with your hands. I still use tweezers from time to time especially if its a new style of eyelashes ^^!
3. What is your favourite style of fake eyelashes?
I generally like crisscrossed ones and the ones which are for the corner of your eyes.
I dont tend to enjoy wearing full length ones for a long period of time.

I like the feathery look it gives.
4. What eyelash glue do you use?
I never use the eyelash glue that comes with the fake eyelashes, i always throw it out XD
This is the brand i use
Its so so good, my absolute HG. I think i have used over 10 tubes in my lifetime XD <- a tube will last a long long time too.
Your fake eyelashes will NOT fall out even in heavy winds/rains!
Does not gunk up your falsies and easy to remove.
I highly reccomend this item!!!

Not makeup related but i was talking to a few of you on twitter lately about my experiments in making speedy Nama-Caramel. Nama-caramel is soft caramel [Nama means RAW in japanese]
This recipe is seriously basic XD Here’s what you need…
You need butter too..i forgot to include it in the pic.

Verdict..seriously good…i dont usually like sweet things but omg this is good. XD

So many falsies! *envies* I would want to be able to put them on daily but I cant seem to make them stay nicely. Perhaps its the glue I’m using? Am using DUO <- not sure if its the correct spelling. XD

DUO seems so popular in Asia but in Japan its definetely this one heehee
it holds up perfectly and dries so quickly too.
Why would your lashes thin out? mine hasnt anyway and i have been wearing them for years. heeheeee

the Esperique precious is so tempting… wohoo
I might try the DHC tonic then, if you felt it made a difference, it’s so cheap! I got a RevitaLash as a gift and it works OK (15% fuller lashes maybe?) but at over £80 I don’t think it’s worth it. Toilet brush cleaner? ROFL!!! You make it sound so romantic xDDDD
A friend of mine uses the koji eye glue coz she thought the Duo one was making her eyelash-bald xD I don’t really like Duo either, if I find ur one on eBay or sasa I’ll try it
What are the cheapest falsies brands that u like? I’m often hesistant coz some feel really uncomfortable, but there must be good value ones out there!!

80pounds! tats expensive~! yes dhc is nice and cheap heehee. have u tried the lancome oscilating base? the SA told me it would help with lashes growth and strength too!

WHoa LASHES!! I so need to get better at putting these on! LOL! Cuz I really like the way it opens up my damn hooded eyes… but I SUCK at application! I think I bought a tube of DUO used it like twice then had to throw it out cuz I wasn’t using it and it went bad! LOL! Is the glue you use only sold in Japan?

I’ve considered using false eyelashes for awhile now. but I have issues using contacts already so I don’t know how much better I’m going to have with false eyelashes… and if i’m still wearing my glasses, i think false eyelashes can’t be seen anyways behind my glasses?

the heart pattern on that blush is adorable! I think I used to doodle a pattern like that when I was in grade school
love when you do posts on EOTDs…igonna attempt to use fake eyelashes again. i could never put it on correctly, at least not for both eyes. i’ve tried eyelash extensions but they can get costly and hard to clean my face properly. my natural lashes are soooooooooooooooo short so my eyes always looks so tired.
ooo caramel…i should try the recipe sometime. yesterday i cheaped on getting some new creme caramel candies from the UCC(?) brand.

The eyelashes fixer look fab and its quite a big tube IMO compare to the normal one we purchase like from MAC or duo..

I really want to have eye makeup tat looks like urs cause it makes the eyes so doll like.. Also, I really wana find that eyelash glue u recommended. I’ve tried a few and i’ve never been happy with any brand b4. they always peel off at the sides..or hurt my natural lashes upon removal! thanks sweetie for the recommendation…

I have a small obsession with fake lashes myself. I have maybe 50 pairs (shhhh… do not tell the boyfriend) The funny thing is that I hate putting them on but once they are on I love them. Also, I prefer eyelash extensions but I refuse to pay what they charge here, I just wish I could do them on myself since I am certified to do them. The things we do for beauty. hehehe…
