Bear with me, i am actually quite in love with everything in this post so i hope u check out the whole post!
Those of you on twitter would have seen me tweet this when it happened..but i partook in a nars haul over a week ago…XD
Yup..i love NARS
Now before u say anything..i didnt pay full price for most of the items XD
Yup most of it was on sale!!
And the best part? i didnt know there was a sale on. The NARS store did not have ads or visual promotions up so i only found out cos the SA told me.
I was in NARS to buy a multiple and she told me there was a one day only sale going on! XD
This was the multiple i went to the store to buy
Going to use it for mostly contouring and shading
The SA told me the lip products were on sale and since i never tried their lip crayons, i got two of them [SA's recs!]
And regular readers know i loooove NARS lipglosses so since they are on sale..i had to pick up two of them in Ophelia [new shade] and Greek Holiday <– has been on my wish list for a while
And how can one shop from NARS during a sale and not pick up any blushes..

i am excited over this bento cos it makes use of my lock&lock container perfectly XD
The tier is actually for putting a cooler bag but its perfect for the tortillas heeehee
I know i havent posted a bento pic in quite a while but i do make them everyday. I just dont think about taking pics early in the morning. XD
Lastly since we are talking about cooking, i just want to thank everyone for being so encouraging and supportive on my crazy antics cooking/baking using a rice cooker. I’m still going to keep experimenting but i also recieved quite a few emails from you guys asking if i could try recipes for the microwave instead since they dont have a rice cooker.
So i got this book
Recipes for cooking with the microwave. Will start reading/experimenting on the recipes once i find a bit of time ^^
But for those who cant wait..here is something a reader Miss S sent me!!
Ingredients [Translation from Miss S]
Pancake flour 150g
1 egg
120cc of milk
1 large tablespoon of oil
Optional..raisins or walnuts etc

That NARS haul is fantastic! And I think I own everything except for the Gilda blush and the Ophelia gloss. How do you like the pencils? I find them a bit dry but I love the pigmentation so I use them with gloss or a sheer lipstick on top
My favourite one is Sex Machine 
The little glosses are so cute! What a good way to try out the colours 
I love the Uniqlo stuff! And I covet your AiW pieces, the long shirt is especially gorgeous.
I love snack food! But your chicken fajita bento looks the best I think. It reminds me that I should eat dinner. Haha. The besties and I are possibly taking cooking classes this year, so we’ll see how that goes!

omg! so much NARS and on sale???? that never happens! I would have completly went on a spree too~! I love your multiple I have seen it in many contouring videos it looks great for that purpose. The mini lip glosees are so cute and the full sized ones are gorgeous!

oh my goodness your 7-11 snacks are making me so hungry! I wish we had nice 7-11′s like that in L.A., but sadly nope. I love going to Taiwan every year and getting rice triangles and snacks at the 7-11′s which are everywhere. really miss it right not o.O nice Nars haul! Yup!! The prices for the items you bought from NARS was really reasonable. I love snacks too!! I myself bought some cookies & biscuits from Marks & Spencer over the weekend in Singapore as they were reducing the prices for those to be expire items within 2 months or so.

yes i dont wear OTT frou frou anymore..far too old for that haha but i do like stuff that works for day to day and is a little special. i sorta accumulated my lolita stuff over the years so a lot of it is so old, i am far too embarrased to post pics of them online XD!! check out chocochip..i think their stuff is cute and not too OTT. victoria maiden is also another favourite!
Yumeko – thank you for the recommendations. I am way too old for lolita (I’m over 30!) but I actually think some of the plainer outfits are perfectly acceptable for everyday wear and kinda look a bit retro as opposed to lolita. Besides which I am only getting older – by the time I’m in my late 30s I really will be too ancient for it. I am really liking Victoria Maiden – I think very 60s – thanks so much for the tips!!

i think all the uniqlo stores carried the alice in wonderland line , however it was limited edition and they started selling quite a while ago so u should hurry to your closest store soon before its truly all gone ^^

i love how ure hk out in about photos – as i was hoping to check out uniqolo soon – but am getting busy with exams.
the nars discount is very surprising, lucky you, i know they do 20% off for VIPs on their birthday month, but u got an even better deal! could i ask which shop you went to? i thought i was getting a good deal, since i’m picking up a few things in the nars 18% F&F on their website, to be picked up when I go to NY in late June, but i think u might have gotten an equal or better deal!
in case ure interested there are a lot of deals coming up startin april 29 to May 2nd – since a lot of mainland tourists come to HK for the labour day long weekend. – for instance there’s a makeup forever roadshow coming up with foundation and new HD blush sets at a steal. Otherwise, next week is SOGO thankful week (bi annual, every earlymay and late November)- with major sales – but crazy crowds as well.

And the snacks look delicious! And the Bento you made for your husband is so adorable~~ My boyfriend and I have been eating ham, lettuce and jarlsberg sandwiches everyday for the past two weeks. I’m getting a little sick of it. Yesterday I was daydreaming about various things I could put in a bento while all the psychiatrists were talking about anorexic patients in a meeting I was sitting in on!! Pretty bad..but it was the only way I could stay awake!
As soon as I saw the Uniqlo collaberation photos, I went to check on the Uniqlo UK site, and it doesn’t look like we have ANY of those cool collabs. T__T We just got Disney..and the Minnie mouse shirt I thought was cute only has XS and M left, neither of which fit me.

i bought the line to try when i was in tokyo and loved it. quite moisturizing (tho not enough for North America winter b/c of the indoor heat).
it was recommended to me by a friend that this is SK-II’s sister line without the $$$$!

i make it the night before whilst making dinner these days. sometimes i do make it in the morning but that takes like 15mins really cos most of the items are cooked and stored in the fridge somewhere.
I haven’t gone to Sephora for awhile. But the last time I was there, they don’t seem to carry it. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong! Haha.
