Sooo i havent done a food post in AGES! My fave foodie ladies told me it was time to have one up so here it is! This is from my roadtrip to Kyoto. We stopped one day in Nagoya on the way there and this is what we ate that night.
FYI Yama-chan is a chain store also found in Tokyo but we wanted to see if it was the same in Nagoya [where its from] Also it was right next to our hotel and our feet were sore from walking around all day haha
It was pretty packed. think there was a party of sorts in the private room [the big room in the middle of the place]
Yama-chan is a celebrity business man of sorts. He had caricatures of himself printed all over.
For example, the chopsticks!
I was told to put down the names of the food i eat but the name of this slips my mind right now
The afamed Chicken wings!
This is what the place is famous for [Nagoya is famous for a LOT of food, chicken wings amongst them]
They even have a chart on how to enjoy them XD
We also had some yakisoba.
Kimchi tofu soup [okok i know its not exactly famous there but it was cold and my sis and i wanted soup]
Tsukune! i looooove tsukune. its my 2nd fave when i have yakitori!
Ham-katsu. Slices of fried ham
And tonkatsu in black miso sauce. Black miso is famous in Nagoya too. The most famous one being Hatcho-miso.
I became quite addicted to black miso whilst in Nagoya.

I know i know there are plenty of famous restaurants and gourmet food to eat in Nagoya. And i know i know Yama-chan is just a chain store. But i am not a food snob. I think the food is good and like i said, its near my hotel. My priorities were to spend a good time with my family and thats exactly what we did ^^ If you are ever in Nagoya or anywhere with the chain branch..check it out!!!

Now in other news…i have decided that my twitter account is rubbish XD Since i got it 2 years ago, i have been plagued with every problem possible. For almost 6 months, i could not approve anyone’s request. i had to raise a complaint ticket and they finally fixed it. I had missing tweets [where i cant see when someone tweets me] and friends were removing me even though they say they didnt.
