Now here’s a brand i havent reviewed in ages!!
Etude House is a beauty brand from Korean with branches in countries like Singapore and Taiwan.
A while ago, they did a collaboration with 2ne1 [a fantastic girl group from Korea i think you should check out] and i finally got round to getting a few items from them
I bought these as part of my huge gmarket haul recently. [will show u guys what i got in another post]
I travel quite a bit and regular readers know i have the worst luck with blush when i travel [broken quite a few] so i resort to carrying multiples from NARS or cream blushes from MUFE. But i saw these and thought i would give it a try.
Ok i admit it, its the idea of a purple cream blusher that tipped me over.
Those familiar with me will know i got some crazy weird obsession with buying purple toned blush.
But wow this is really purple XD
sorry for this really bad and craptastic photo, i am currently trying a new camera out and obviously i havent gotten the hang of it. i can get it to focus on one spot [the purple one] but not the peach one. Need to read the manual [maybe]
– cute packaging, very portable
– cheap [about USD$6]
– fairly easy to buy [gmarket ships internationally and FAST]
– sets well, does not budge
– no scent [thank goodness]
– does stain a bit. Or rather you need to use a good makeup remover to get it all off
– dries extremely quickly so you need to smooth it out asap
How the nozzle looks like
I really like the blush cos it lasts ALL DAY LONG. The purple color is very unique , though it takes a while to figure out how best to use it [i use above my cheek bones, under my eyes. It tones out the dark circles and redness extremely well] The peach color is fairly common but i like the small and compact packaging for travel. There are two other colors [a pink and rosy color i think] so i highly reccomend you guys check it out! ^^
the purple blush is still a blush..not a concealer XD i use it somewhere under my eyes[bags] and above my cheek bones. hope this helps!!!
Where to buy
Countries like Taiwan , Singapore, Malaysia etc all have Etude House stores. If there isnt one near you, try gmarket.co.kr! They ship internationally AND take paypal/credit card.
In completely unrelated news, i’ve been making this really often and i thought, i better post this on the blog!
