Yes its finally another cooking post! Since my last cooking post, i got a lot of questions/ideas/comments/requests for more recipes! One of the most common comment i got was that a lot of you did not have ovens nor did you have rice cookers. Actually a lot of you said you did have rice cookers at home but you were not allowed/able to use them.
So today, i’l teach you how to bake a cheesecake* in the frying pan! So hopefully you have a frying pan at home!
*note the recipe i adapted called it Gateau Fromage

What you will need
Ingredients
2 egg yolks and 1 egg white [so 1 egg and 1 more yolk]
1 big tablespoon flour
250g cream cheese
25g unsalted butter
60ml cream
60g sugar
Note: make sure you have your eggs at room temperature

dont throw the excess egg white out! freeze it for making something else!!
Step 1: Mix softened butter and cream cheese together

2. Beat in the sugar till foamy

3. Fold in the cream and beaten eggs

5. Line a frying pan with baking paper

I used one about 20cm in diameter.
6. Pour the mixture and cook it over low heat for 15mins

The top will bubble slightly, be certain not to burn the bottom of your cake!!!
Turn fire off and let cake sit for 20mins
7. The cake is fairly solid but soft in the middle, put the cake in the fridge to set completely

8. It should be fully set in 30mins!

ENJOY!!!!
The recipe is easy and foolproof. If you try it, please let me know how you go ^^
During my trip to Australia, i rediscovered my love for slices!!! There are hardly any slices to buy in Japan whereas they are everywhere in Australia.

My mother in law shared a few recipes with me, so will experiment and hope to be able to share a recipe or two with you guys soon!!
In other news, Circle K [Convenience store] has a super junior [korean boy group] promotion at the moment!

See Website here http://www.circleksunkus.jp/cs/campaign/korea/index.html
I tried going to one yesterday but many things were sold out! I’ll try to go to another one tomorrow. Will do a full blog post and maybe a mini giveaway once i get some items!
Thanks to everyone for their kind wishes in the last blog post too!
i am feeling a lot better and hope to be 100% soon!!
Hope everyone keeps well
XOXO Yumeko

good question!! i think i would sieve it with the flour then put the mixture in
this is because green tea powder tends to clump a bit and i think sifting it with the flour would distribute it a bit better?
thank you for checking out my blog!!!! i really appreciate it
hope to see u more

i think the one cooked in the oven would be more “cooked” through, less creamy
u could try cooking it in a waterbath in the oven, might be a similar result ^^

hiya! oh yes i used plain flour! anyway its just 1 big tablespoon so i dont think it will matter too much ^^
good luck!!!
