Its been ages since i last updated and i do apologise for that. I have been busy lately and havent had much time to go on the internet. if you read my last entry, you will know that i am currently on a work trip in Singapore. I’m here for two weeks and will be going back home next week.
Singapore is a country constantly changing. Everytime i am here, there is something new.
Recently i needed a new place to visit for an important lunch and a few lovelies on twitter suggested The Jewel Box on Mount Faber. So i paid the place a visit
The nice thing about this place? Since its called The Jewel Box, there is a heckload of Js insignias everywhere
In case u are confused, my english name starts with J. XD

There are 4 restaurants there and the one i visited was called “Black Opal”

As The Jewel Box is located on a small hill [Mt Faber], the view is gorgeous
We started with some mocktails [we drove so we cant drink alcohol XD]

Went for a walkaround the place
The alfresco section [Sapphire] is gorgeous , i bet you can have a really fun night out here
Or a romantic night perhaps?
It is outdoors but i dont think it will too warm at night [being on top of a hill and all that]

If you had the set lunch, you can also go on the cable car ride for free! [Else you can always buy tickets]

If you get a chance to go, dont forget to check out the old cable cars outside [apparently these used to be the ones they had till they were replaced with the fancy new model]
All in all, i highly reccomend this experience ^^

p.s i know a lot of you asked if i feel Singapore is warm. Normally i do! But i think Japan is warmer at the moment and because of the power saving in Japan, its actually a heck load colder in Singapore [Esp the Airconditioned places cos the AC is turned on really high here hhhahaha]
p.p.s if there is a place you think i should visit in Singapore or maybe a sale or something to do whilst i am here..please comment and let me know!!! i dont have a lotta spare time but i will be keen to hear
