A few months ago, i ran out of my HG lip and eye makeup remover aka Bifacil by Lancome.
However Lancome is way overpriced here in Japan so i thought i would wait till my eventual trip to Hong Kong and buy it there. [Those of you who saw my Hong Kong haul would have noticed that i had bought two bottles of BiFacil in the end]
Anyway, before i went Hong Kong, i dug out this little gem from my stash and thought i give it a go
Innisfree Sensitive Lip and Eye Makeup Remover
I have no idea how much this cost as i bought in Korea over a year ago.
The number one reason i bought this..i LOVE the dispenser. Yup its one of those pump bottles! you push down on it and it dispenses the correct amount. [Regular readers will know, i actually store my BiFacil this way as well!!]
Sadly, that is the only good point about this remover.
It does not do an awesome job at removing makeup
I know its just an eye/lip makeup remover but i thought i toss some swatches of bbcream and blush in there so u can see how good/bad this is.
- packaging, useful bottle
- scent is amazing
- non stinging, truly good for sensitive eyes
- doesnt do a great job at removing eye/lip makeup [like waterproof eyeliner]
- hard to find
if you are someone who doesnt wear hard to remove makeup [such as waterproof eyeliner, waterproof mascara, long wearing lipstick etc] yet wants to use something to remove the eye/lip area rather than using harsh removers, then this is the one for you. I have been using it for days when i am not wearing makeup but have done my brows. i use it to remove the brow makeup and then i wash my face in the shower with my clarisonic + facewash. i find the extra step works better and its less harsh on my brows.
So it would seem BiFacil is still the best product to use for eye/lip makeup remover. Or do you have a better reccomendation?
Its Wednesday today..middle of the week
And honestly speaking, the weekend cannot come soon enough. I’m having a pretty crappy week.
Hopefully rest of the week picks up!!
Hope YOU are having a good week
