Earlier this year, i wrote a blogpost about my love affair with tea store Lupicia.
Well, 2 months ago, i attended the Lupicia The Darjeeling Festival. [yes i am very behind on entries haha]
It was held at one of the exhibitions halls at Ikebukurou Sunshine 60.
There was no entry fee but the event was by invite only. However you could get an invite if you applied early online or was a member of the store [Spend 5000yen on their products to sign up]
Husband offered to accompany me and we both thought it wouldnt be busy but…
it was PACKED
Tea for beauty!
There were samples for every type of tea lupica has in the store
They also demonstated the reccomend ways to make the tea
There were snacks available as well[made from tea!]
Thank goodness there were seating areas
I drank a heck load of tea XD
It was truly a fantastic outing! i really love tea!
One of the highlights of this event…Lupicia has many stores in Japan as well as a few overseas [like Hawaii! Australia! USA!] Usually each store has a specially packaged tin + one of a kind flavor which is exclusive to them and you can only get it if you visited that store..but not now..you can buy ALL of them at this event!!

I had a hard time trying to stop myself from buying all of them [i didnt! how am i going to drink all that tea?]

Tea Honey
VERY YUMMY honey with a strong tea taste. I adore the Tokio one. Honey with a green tea taste..omg yum. Yes ok i bought the yume one because of its name hahahhhha
Tea Jam [caramel tea and apple]
this is insanely good. kinda expensive but good. it REALLY tastes like tea. A little goes a long way.
Charity item
they are 100yen each and proceeds went to charities helping Japan cope with the aftermath of the devastating earthquake + tsunami in early March this year.

The dried fruits were insanely good. i love those mini tins

All in all, i had such a fabulous time. Even the husband agreed! He said he would definetely attend the next event with me! [For those in Tokyo, its in September!]
