A few posts back, i posted pics of the New Year Tea i bought from Tokyo Disneyland and most of you loved it~
So i thought i would post pics of some other items i bought.
2012 is the year of the Dragon, here is Winnie the pooh in a dragon outfit [SO CUTE]
He’s quite small, measures about 5inches tall.
Currently residing by my front door.
This was a present from the husband. He sneakily bought it whilst i was in the bathroom at Disneyland
If you unhook the main part, it forms a pocket and on the inside there is a card for you to write your wish/dream on.
Best part of this charm [other than the fact its a pink daruma..love darumas] it also says YUME on the back
In japanese, YUME means DREAM. I like to think you know why this word is special to me XD
The last time i posted about what i bought in Tokyo Disneyland, many of you commented that the goods are Tokyo Disneyland seem better than at other Disneylands. Whilst i am not sure why, i did find out that Toko Disneyland is the only disneyland not owned by Disney! A japanese company pays Disney a licensing fee to build and operate Tokyo Disneyland. As such, i suspect that is why the goods for sale and certain things are different from anywhere else in the world. Just a thought anyway.
Though we do not celebrate Lunar New Year in Japan, i know many of my dear friends/readers around the world do.
So to everyone that does celebrate it…….

its an overcoat. i dont know wat the term in english is but its kinda like a happi coat or a haori coat made out of fleece XD people wear these over their yukata at onsens. i wear it around the house hahaha
