Review: Orbis Face Sunscreen UV Cut [Milk Type]

Every summer i am on the prowl for new sunscreen. This year, under the advice from many friends, i decided to purchase one from Orbis. FYI, Orbis is a mail order cosmetics store in Japan similar to DHC and Fancl. They have a few bricks and mortar stores in Japan but it was easier to just purchase online.

Note: there is a cream type as well. Which is more moisturizing. I recommend that if you have dry skin.

Its a top seller from Orbis. They have sold over 1700000 bottles since it was launched summer last year.

I like the fact its oil free. Way too many sunscreens are greasy. I hate that feeling in warm weather.
orbis-3

Pros
– oil free
– fragrance free
– has SPF34 PA++
– Can be used a base or light tinted moisturisor

Cons
– Comes in one color [doesnt matter if you intend to wear as a base]
– Very little coverage.

Overall Thoughts:
When i first started using this, it was cooler weather so i used it as a base. I used it with my CoverGirl X Olay Simply Ageless Foundation. However as spring passed and summer drew closer, I became lazy and just wore a layer of this out. It works wonderfully well with MAC blotting powder.

In other news, I finally made it to the hair salon this week XD
I have been crazy busy at work and then i fell sick for about a week so my hair roots was totally showing!
Everytime i go to the hair salon [i dont dye my hair myself] i ask my colorist to dye my hair darker as I think its time for a change
But he always tells me i am going to regret it since its taken many years to get my hair this way XD
Anyway to pacify me, he dyed my hair several tones this time. [actually he says its just two tones but it comes out looking different when its curled like below]
hair
Do you like my multi-colored hair XD? Yes i am wearing a polka dot blouse with cherries on it XD. You like?

Hope you are all doing well!!!
XOXO Yumeko

yup i have to use bleach! being typical japanese, i was born with very dark hair [almost black] so they use a lot of bleach to get these shades. 😀

ahh XD no sadly, you are thinking of ORKIS not ORBIS XD
its very sheer. i would say its almost not noticeable if u are close to that shade.

i had to do some research for this , here it is
“SPF measures a sunscreen’s sun protection factor against UVB rays, which cause skin to burn. PA is the same concept, but it measures the sun protection factor against UVA rays, which cause skin aging. There are 3 degrees of PA which are PA+, PA++, and PA+++. PA++ is good for every day use. PA +++ is for sports etc”
So in short to answer your question, YES. This has UVA and UVB protection 😀
