Its been ages since i last been to the drugstore so i am a little behind on new releases but i did get the chance to pop into the store yesterday so i’m here to share a few pics with you!

Tsururi has put out a cleaning mitt which is supposed to remove makeup and dirt in your pores just using water [omg?!]

BYS is a brand from Australia and several of their products are sold in Japan [at a crazy marked up price]
They have put out new palettes called LOOKME.
The colors are gorgeous and it swatches great but I didnt buy them as i figured they would be cheaper in Australia but i cant find them on the official BYS website. So is this a Japan only thing? [I hope not cos a BYS palette in Japan is like USD$17 whereas a BYS palette in Australia is a mere USD$4.50] Anyone in Australia who can verify if this is sold there?

LOREAL has a new concealer/highlight out called LUCENT magique
Before anyone complains that japanese cosmetics cost too much where they are..note that this costs 1680yen in Japan [About USD$19.50] So i too have to pay more for non japanese cosmetics XD
Has anyone tried this? Is it worth buying?
And the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain has made it to Japan as well!
There are currently 6 shades out in Japan and they retail at 1260yen each [USD$15] here.

The Canmake cream cheek in red is really tempting (heck, all three of them are) and I like all the cocomagic glosses as well….

Haven’t heard about L’Oreal Lucent in the US but have heard of Lumi highlighter (maybe similar/same products?)

I love the Canmake Cream Cheek blushes, the new colors look really good, especially the one in the middle! Oh and I’m also curious about the cleaning mitt. My skin gets dry so quick from cleaning products -___-

Haven’t seen those BYS palettes here in Australia – apparently they created the sub-brand for the Japanese market, according to a friend who works for the company, with a view to sell here/Western markets.
I cannot get over the mark up, though – BYS is literally sold in dollar stores here!! I’m moving Tokyo way in December, maybe I should buy some and sell them?! XD

Just wanted to say Lucent Magique isn’t worth that high price!
I purchased it recently and was disappointed. It’s sheer coverage and has a watery consistency as opposed to Touche Eclat’s thicker more opaque formula. It does brighten somewhat but its definitely not worth valling it a semi-concealor. I’ve heard Bourjois do better versions but haven’t tested those.
I’m waiting for ichibankao to release the new canmake new gel formula cream cheeks. Can’t wait!~

I havent seen the BYS anywhere at all… But if its similar formular than the mark up isnt really going to be worth it unless you love the colours! I wish we had that packaging here though… Its so much more appealing!
The revlon balms arent here in aus yet!! Mid november they are arriving… But $18 i heard. Atleast they are cheaper than the lip butters -.-

BYS isn’t that popular in Australia, we often stick to drugstore brands so there aren’t that many stockists that sell BYS and I definitely haven’t seen that eyeshadow palette around
yes i have been told by a few since that the palette might be made just for japan or overseas markets T-T
not sure if i am willin to spend that much on it yet. maybe will go back and swatch again lol.
Thanks for the updates! I searched the coco magic website and found some of the eye colors appealing…a tad different from the usual boring color combi of Japanese drugstore palettes. Will swatch it if I see it hehe.

There’s so many browns (it’s basic and I love it too), brown + pinks etc. I want to see more unique color combi like blues (blue + silver + grey palettes?) or richer greens (I didn’t find any green palettes i like) and how about good payoff purples? I love purples but I only own one from Luvshca (not perfect yet).
What about you? What colours do you like?
i sorta change the colors i am into every season [i am so easily swayed lol] and there is always a strange color i hunt for.
but i have great affection for gold
a good green palette is hard to buy indeed! its one of the rare colors i am willing to pay for a single shadow
a few seasons ago [2 years now?] one of the first LE singles ADDICTION put out was a gorgeous green teal and i think i spent months looking for a dupe cos i missed out hahaha
i was in a green/teal + brown + gold moment at that time XD
this season i am into dark browns, dark grays and the weird color i am hunting right now is terracotta/rust XD

Awwww I wanna try some of these out! I hate paying crazy prices for American or Auz brands here so I just try to stick with the Japanese ones. I want to try the new mascara tho…you always give good reviews on stuff. So I usually follow your advice!
The mitt reminds me of Jane Iredale’s Magic Mitt that I read about recently. I know it removes makeup but the Tsururi one seems to have the added benefit of cleaning pores. Would be interesting to find out if it actually works.
