Canmake [japanese drugstore makeup brand] recently released a limited edition shade of their popular Candy Wrap Lip line. Since i have never reviewed anything from this line on my blog, i thought i would do it at the same time!
Here is the item i bought
The Candy Wrap lip lines promises vivid pigmented color as well as being super moisturising.
The shade color is #09 and is called Dark Night Plum. It is a limited edition shade.
The shade is inspired by “starlet lips” [i'm guessing they mean hollywood glamour?]
The applicator is a flat sponge wand.
Pros
- not scented
- not sticky
- super glossy, pigmented clear stain colors [there are 8 permanent colors, 09 is LE]
- cute packaging
Cons
- sponge applicator. Its hard to use up the tube completely.

Overall Thoughts
After a few years of buying just nude lipsticks/lipglosses, i have finally embraced color XD
This year i am all about bright lips and these glosses deliver.
I intend to purchase a few more in their permanent line

Nice color payoff! Wonder if its similar to the YSL lip gloss stain.
i dont have any YSL lip gloss stain [shocking i know XD] so i cant compare between the two but i am guessing not since its not very opaque like the ysl swatches i seen
