Hokkaido is famous for their own style of ramen and each region in Hokkaido has a slightly different style too.
So what do you if you want to eat more than what Sapporo has to offer?
Time to visit the Sapporo Ramen Republic!!
Features 8 famous ramen shops from different areas of Hokkaido [mainly Sapporo, Asahikawa, Hakodate, and Kushiro]

They have recreated older Japan here with many retro items

But we are here for the ramen XD

This is the store we picked

Ajisai
The original store is founded in Hakodate

Their speciality is Shio Ramen [Salt Flavored Ramen] so i ordered a set meal with rice ^^

FYI, Shio ramen is probably the oldest type of ramen and is a pale, clear, yellowish broth made with plenty of salt and any combination of chicken, vegetables, fish, and seaweed. Occasionally pork bones are also used, but they are not boiled as long as they are for tonkotsu ramen, so the soup remains light and clear.

It is my absolute favorite kind of ramen. Its actually not easy to find a really good bowl of Shio Ramen but when you find it, ERMAGERD it is good. The soup has such an amazing complex yet light flavour.

When you finish the noodles, add your rice to the leftover soup for a REALLY good zousui

[ i seriously just drooled looking at my own photos XD SAD ]
All in all, i highly recommend a trip here!
