Harajuku Kiddyland + Free Wifi in Omotesando Japan

Do you know the store Kiddyland?
It is a famous toy store in Tokyo. Many tourists visit it yearly as they have a wide variety of toys available.
For a while they were shut but they have reopened on the 7th of January 2013 back in Omotesando Street!
[Its closer to the train stops Meiji Jingumae and omotesando than Harajuku station]
Its 5 stories of fun!

On the top floor, is the Rilakkuma Store AND the Hello Kitty Store!
For Rilakkuma fans, note that the store in Tokyo Solamachi is much larger [just FYI] but if you dont have time to go, this is a good alternative.

Re-ment! how i love these miniatures

The hello kitty section is really well stocked, highly recommended for Hello Kitty fans!

The stairway [cute yes?]

In B1, its Snoopy Town [back in the day, Snoopy had their own store opposite Harajuku station but that has since shut down]

I loved the little toy bus heehee

Bento box

Snoopy Themed kitchen gear

Water bottles

This caught my eye, isnt it the most gorgeous scarf?
Sadly it feels like paper..make that scratchy paper! And its costs over 9000yen too [almost USD$100]

If you get the chance, do pay the new and improved Kiddyland a visit!

As a side note, there is free wifi spot right in front of the store too!
Its omo-free wifi which is omotesando free wifi! it has just started on the 1st of February 2013.

Have an excellent trip!

That snoopy reclining on a kennel teapot is probably the cutest but most impractical thing to have in the kitchen.

OMG Hello Kitty and Snoopy and Rilakumma!! I think I’ll spend hours in this store!

I’ve actually been here several times! Before I had a child and therefore no legit excuse to be in a toy store… 🙂

  4. Ligi says:

I think I can spend the whole day there soaking up all the cuteness.
The Snoopy Fondue pot is so adorable…

I’ve been to Kiddyland! It is overwhelming (in a good way)! I’ve purchased many souvenirs and toys there. That whole area with Harajuku and Omotesando Hills is a walker’s paradise. I miss it so!
