Did you know it was Moomin Day yesterday?
I didnt but i found out when i visited a Lawson 100yen store. They are currently having a Moomin promotion.
FYI, Lawson 100yen store is supermarket convenience store of sorts which carries mostly food that cost around 105yen. The products stocked are usually “home brand” ie produced exclusively by them. Its not the same as a normal Lawson convenience store [thought i better clear this up 
)
A while ago, i had some time off and i started trying loads of new cooking/baking recipes. Mostly i have been trying to make dishes that the husband cant get in Japan and wants to eat.
These efforts have not gone unnoticed and the husband surprised me with a few new additions to my kitchen.
