A few weeks ago, i went on a family trip to Chichibu in Saitama
One of the highlights was visiting a kakigori store named Asami Reizou which only opens in summer.

There is always a long long queue outside Asami Reizou
Its been a really long time [years?] since i last went to Kappabashi-dori aka the kitchen district of Tokyo. If you are someone that enjoys cooking or buying kitchenware/homeware/zakka, this is probably your type of wonderland ^^ If you ever been to restaurant/eatery in Tokyo, chances are, they got their cutlery/tableware/display/chairs/watever here. Dont worry, whilst all shops here do wholesale, they are happy to sell to just the normal shopper as well.
To get there, you can take a train to Asakusa [about 10mins walk] or take a train to Tawaramachi [about 2mins walk] There are tons of road signs so you wont miss it. ^^

The big chef’s head on the building at the start of the district.
