A while ago, on our way back from a roadtrip to Ito, my family and i stopped in Atami (熱海市) for a quick look.
It is a city located in the eastern end of Shizuoka, Japan and is famous for its onsens as well. It is part of the 三景 Sankei and known as one of Japan’s Three Great Hot Springs (三大温泉 Sandaionsen).
Note: This is a list made in the 17th century. There have been tons of new lists/variations since.

We were there to visit the Atami Station Shopping Street 熱海駅前平和通り商店街
It is right next to the Atami Train Station.
I first read about this themed parking area around July last year but since they didnt open till October 2010, i didnt get round to visiting them till recently.
For those who didnt read my previous entries, PA [parking area] and SA[service area] are kinda like truck stops/rest stops on expressways in Japan. Those that are not on expressways, are known as Roadstops. Just to clarify. ^^

Le Petit Prince Parking Area 星の王子さまパーキングエリア
FYI, SA [service area] are always far bigger than PA [parking area]
